Who Speaks For Islam? What A Billion Muslims Really Think.*Click here to view pictures from the Des Moines Forum. U.S. Center for Citizen Diplomacy, in partnership with Gallup and the WorldAffairsCouncil of America, launched the first two forums in a national series: Who Speaks for Islam? What a Billion Muslims Really Think.The first three forums were held in Des Moines, Iowa, Omaha, Nebraska and Naples, Florida. Close to 1700 people attended the three forums.
Des Moines, Iowa, May 27, 2008: [300 Attendance] Omaha, Nebraska, May 28, 2008: [200 Attendance] Naples, Florida, November 17, 2008: [1300 Attendance] The Center is planning to take this forum across the country to the following locations:Spring Field, Illinois; Missoula, Montana; and Milwaukee, Wisconsin. **Please check back for more updates. In Spring Field, Illinois, the forum , originally scheduled for March 30, 2009, is being rescheduled. In Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the forum , originally scheduled for April 15, 2009, is being rescheduled. In San Francisco, California, the forum will be held on June 17, 2009.
