E-Pals & Pen Pals

Having pen pals is fun. Children can build friendships and experience cultures around the world. The sites listed on this page have been reviewed for child-appropriate content. However, the U.S. Center for Citizen Diplomacy strongly recommends parents monitor children closely as they locate and correspond with a pen pal on the Internet.

The sites listed here have been reviewed by U.S. Center for Diplomacy staff but, due to the changeable nature of the Internet, the Center can accept no responsibility for the ongoing content of each site. Listing on this site is not an endorsement of any specific program but rather a collection of resources for locating a reputable pen pal service.
